Placement
|
- The midsagittal plane of
the patient's head is perpendicular to the film which touches the posterior
aspect of the patient's head.
- The posterior aspect of
the patient's head touches the film in such a way that a line from the
external auditory meatus to nasion is perpendicular to the film.
- The x-ray beam is directed perpendicular to the film, entering the anterior aspect of the patient's head.
